  CH Westend came back with a fairly reasonable quote to have a full bathroom renovation.
  
  All the staff were very nice and eager to help. Unfortunately the builders they sent round seemed to lack basic knowledge and made several very serious mistakes. This resulted in two major leaks - one from our boiler and one that ran into the flat downstairs.
  
  Whilst CH Westend did cover the cost to rectify the issues the project ran into 4 weeks which had a knock on effect. On a personal level this was incredibly stressful.
  
  I learnt that the majority or their workmen are employed on zero hours contracts and it became clear from their discussions with their office that they are pushed to finish jobs in a very short amount of time.
  
  This highly pressured environment is what I believe contributed to the errors made. There is very little support given to the workmen that attend. This is vital if only one person is allocated to your job and a task requires 2 men.
  
  Due to the errors with the work completed we now require a new boiler. CH Westend said they would quote us for this but in all honesty I would rather they never attended in the first place.
  
  We now have a bathroom with some quite obvious errors that we will have to live with.
  
  Like most companies in the UK CH Westend seem to only be focused on the bottom line & unachievable deadlines. Penny wise pound stupid comes to mind.
  
  I cannot recommend this company.
